March 7th, 2010
Do you play basketball, volleyball or are involved in any other physical activity that requires high jumping?  Do you wish to increase your vertical leap and jump higher than anyone else you are playing with?  This is possible, but only through special plyometric workouts that focus on increasing your legs, body and kneesâ?? reaction to jumping.
When you take part in a plyometric workouts, you will tune your knee joints and muscles to produce more and faster twitching with the fiber muscles.  Although the muscles will not be very enduring, they can produce fast action that can propel you upward very fast.  These exercises are done through boxes that you must try to jump into by suspending yourself in the air as much as you can.  The reaction produced by these exercises will be that the leg muscles will be faster and the vertical leap distance will be increased tremendously.
